How the marking works
- Answers are compared as exact values, so 1 1/12, 13/12 and 26/24 all count. A division that leaves one over is accepted as 1149 r1, 1149.2 or 1149 1/5, exactly as the mark scheme accepts it.
- Partial credit follows the mark scheme — the tick-box questions, the prime pairs, the fraction matching and the lists of multiples.
- The drawing questions are drawn on screen — click the corners of the reflection, click the face of the net — and marked automatically.
- A handful of marks still need a human: the written explanations, and the questions whose mark scheme accepts any of several answers. You mark those yourself, with the scheme's guidance beside them.
- Every answer key is either checked against the mark scheme by machine or signed off by a person before its paper goes live.
- Progress saves in this browser, so a refresh loses nothing.
